Rugged PoC radio Hytera PNC460

A rugged Android terminal for PTT voice, data access, and field work logging. The PNC460 combines a 127 mm screen, 50 MP camera, and 4,500 mAh battery in an IP68 device.

PoC communication depends on the network and platform. Integration with DMR, TETRA, or PDT via HyTalk Pro is a system function, not direct transmission by the PNC460 on these technologies.

Meet the Hytera PNC460

The PNC460 serves teams that alternate between voice, forms, and queries without carrying separate radio and phone. App selection, device management, and permissions must accompany the operation. The physical PTT does not eliminate data dependency for PoC calls.

Apps on Android

Information alongside the team

Android 12, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage allow the use of apps compatible with company policy. Test installation and performance of each application.

Convergence

Integrating is not swapping the band

HyTalk Pro can integrate PDT, DMR and TETRA through a system solution. This does not turn the PNC460 into an RF portable on those networks.

Why choose Hytera PNC460?

The PNC460 serves teams that alternate between voice, forms, and queries without carrying separate radio and phone. App selection, device management, and permissions must accompany the operation. The physical PTT does not eliminate data dependency for PoC calls.

Build and field

The terminal weighs 275 g, has IP68, 1.5 m drop test and operation from -20 to +60 °C. Resistance does not eliminate the need to inspect connectors, covers and battery. For work on the move, a support and audio accessory are part of the choice.

Cameras and connectivity

The main camera has 50 MP and the front one, 8 MP. Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz, NFC and positioning complement LTE. Location depends on environment, configuration and service; it is not a promise of accuracy inside any building.

Sizing

Check data signal, essential applications and handling of records. The BP4501 4,500 mAh battery and the correct charger should be part of the shift routine. Integration with the platform needs to be demonstrated in the real flow, including travel and loss of connection.
