OVERVIEW
Meet the Motorola DEP450 Radio
The DEP450 allows DMR and analog operation. The variant, band, programming, battery and accessories must be checked by code before any maintenance or integration.
- VHF and UHF versions; check the band in the unit's code
- Up to 32 channels depending on revision and 2 programmable buttons
- IP54 protection and MIL-STD 810 (C to G) resistance
Digital and Analog
Migrate at your own pace, without replacing everything at once
The DEP450 operates in digital DMR and conventional analog modes. This lets it work alongside radios you already own and allows a gradual move to digital without replacing the entire fleet at once, improving audio quality, enabling more channels in the same spectrum and providing basic privacy.
• Operates in digital DMR and conventional analog
• Dual Capacity Direct Mode doubles the calls on the 12.5 kHz channel
• Up to 40% more battery life in digital mode
Ruggedness and Battery Life
Built for heavy-duty work
IP54 against dust and splashes and MIL-STD-810 C to G testing.
• 2021 datasheet: up to 19 h in digital with 2250 mAh
• 2015 historical reference: up to 18.5 h with 2200 mAh
• 5/5/90 test cycle at high power
• Battery and radio have their own usage limits
Why choose the Motorola DEP450 Radio?
The DEP450 is a DMR and analog radio with no screen, intended here for servicing the installed base. Before requesting service or accessories, provide the unit’s full code, the band, the battery and the programming in use.
The 2021 Motorola datasheet lists 32 channels and digital battery life of up to 19 h with a 2250 mAh battery. The 2015 datasheet shows 16 channels and up to 18.5 h with 2200 mAh. These references describe different revisions: they do not represent an automatic upgrade of existing units.
Accessory selection must take the part code and the variant’s documentation into account. Since the model is discontinued, availability, maintenance, warranty and any replacement are defined in the proposal.

Why buy from ABC Mais Telecom
Buying the radio is only part of the solution. What keeps communication running is the service behind it. See what ABC delivers beyond the equipment.
Programming and service
Planning must consider band, channels, groups, number of users and the need for a repeater. No coverage condition is presumed without a technical survey.
Fleet configuration
Specialized technical service
Technical support and maintenance carried out by a team specialized in radiocommunication, with prompt service to keep the operation on the air.
Configuration and responsible use
The unit and its operation must comply with the applicable regulatory documentation. The page does not presume homologation, license or individual authorization.
Technical support
Service must identify the radio, battery, antenna, accessory and programming file by code. Visual compatibility does not replace the official reference.
