Hytera
Hytera SmartOne: communication and dispatch
SmartOne brings communication and dispatch from different networks together in one control center. It is an integration solution: ABC Mais must map existing systems, available interfaces and the response workflow before defining the project's feature set.
Discuss this solution
What this solution does
Call coordination
Individual, group, priority and emergency calls, plus group patching to coordinate teams.
Context for the operator
GPS location, messages, voice recording and video monitoring can be part of the operational view, depending on configuration.
Networks in the same response
The platform unifies dispatch across different systems. Specific integrations must be validated, not assumed on the basis of brand or protocol.
Group patching is not the same as reprogramming the entire fleet
SmartOne documents patching between groups, alongside individual, group, priority and emergency calls. Patching allows shared communication to be organized from dispatch. It should not be interpreted as universal compatibility between terminals, frequencies or technologies: the connection between networks depends on the designed integration.
- Integration map: list the participating networks, groups involved and confirmed interfaces for each system.
- Operational rule: define who can establish the interconnection and in which situations it should be ended.
- ABC test: check calls and responses for each group, including behavior after removing the interconnection, before authorizing operational use.
Voice, GPS, messages and video in the response workflow
Brazilian documentation presents integration of location, messages, voice recording and video monitoring depending on the configuration. These are sources of context for the dispatcher; installing SmartOne alone must not be promised to connect an existing camera or database.
- Receive: identify the team calling and check the available location information, without treating a missing position as a confirmed one.
- Coordinate: use the call and authorized groups to direct the response, consulting video only when the integration is enabled.
- Review: check recording and available records in the contracted scenario; define permissions, storage and retrieval procedures before deployment.
Network voice recording: what DVRS covers
DVRS (Digital Voice Recording System) is the IP-network voice recording system Hytera provides for DMR Tier III trunked networks and as part of its dispatch application suite. In the SmartOne workflow, recording includes the operator's context: what was said, by which group and when. Recording is not the same as being able to use the record - retention, access and integrity must be defined before deployment.
- Inventory: list the networks and groups that need to be recorded (DMR Tier III, TETRA), estimated call volume and retention time required by the operation.
- Governance: define who can access and export recordings, with an access trail; recording complements operational procedures rather than replacing them.
- ABC test: record a test call in each critical group and demonstrate retrieval by date, group and terminal before authorizing operational use.
Where to assess the application
- ABC project: allow one control center to coordinate security and maintenance without requiring both teams to adopt the same terminal.
- ABC project: bring communication and visual context together to guide the response to an incident at an industrial facility.
What must be confirmed in the project
- Inventory networks, gateways, versions and licenses to confirm integration interfaces.
- Design IP connectivity, operator stations and record storage capacity.
- Define operator profiles, incident priority and a contingency procedure in the ABC proposal.
