Hytera E-pack200 portable repeater
Take an ad hoc DMR network to the operation. The E-pack200 is a portable two-way communication repeater that interconnects nodes by radio, without requiring an IP link to form the temporary network.
The network supports up to 31 nodes according to Hytera. The result depends on positioning, frequencies, antennas and propagation. It does not mean unlimited coverage or immunity to obstacles.

Discover the Hytera E-pack200
The E-pack200 was developed for rapid deployment in mobile operations. Nodes can forward voice over multiple hops and adapt the topology to movement. This reduces dependence on fixed links, but does not eliminate RF planning and channel coordination.

Network without fiber
Radio interconnection
Nodes connect through ad hoc technology without needing fiber or microwave as an IP link. Each hop depends on sufficient signal; positioning is part of the project.
LTE as contingency
Additional conditional function
Hytera presents supporting LTE with SIM. Check the module, service, network and integration with command. LTE is not required for ad hoc radio interconnection.
Why choose Hytera E-pack200?
The E-pack200 was developed for rapid deployment in mobile operations. Nodes can forward voice over multiple hops and adapt the topology to movement. This reduces dependence on fixed links, but does not eliminate RF planning and channel coordination.
Two paths and 31 nodes
The data sheet states DMR Tier II, 12.5 kHz channel spacing, and up to 31 nodes. Simultaneous repetition on two paths must respect configured carriers and channels. It does not mean that any radio becomes a repeater when entering the same frequency.
Portability and power
The E-pack200 measures 211 × 62 × 235 mm and weighs 3.1 kg with battery. The optional battery is 148 Wh; about 9 h using 15/85 duty cycle. Transport, antennas, and access to controls must accompany field use.
Operational supervision
Management can show topology and field strength between nodes. The documentation presents authentication, protection, and deactivation by command. Access policy and configuration need to be defined for the concrete operation.

Questions about Hytera E-pack200
Do you need internet between nodes?
Ad hoc radio interconnection does not require IP. LTE is an additional possibility depending on configuration.
How many nodes does it support?
Up to 31 according to the data sheet. Topology and propagation must be studied.
Does it work with any radio?
Hytera lists DMR Tier II, but band, programming, and services need to be compatible.
Does the battery last nine hours transmitting?
Not continuously. The reference of about nine hours uses a 15/85 cycle.
