The 36 mm speaker has an impedance of 8 ohms and a declared power of 2 W.
4,000 mAh battery
The 4,000 mAh battery has 12.5 hours of use and 22 hours standby according to the official model page.
How to specify the T529A
The T529A is a PoC terminal with a radio appearance, side PTT and two rotary selectors. Voice travels over cellular or Wi-Fi networks and through a push-to-talk platform. For this reason, there is no fixed range independent of the infrastructure. Coverage, SIM, data plan, Wi-Fi quality and platform availability need to be verified in the usage scenario.
T529A system and connectivity
Inrico publishes Android 7.1, a quad-core MTK6739 processor at 1.5 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. There is optional support for a card up to 128 GB and a Micro-SIM slot. Wi-Fi operates on 2.4 and 5 GHz, Bluetooth is 4.2 and NFC is optional. Positioning uses GPS and A-GPS. Maps, history, dispatch and work applications depend on the platform and the configured integration.
Network variants
The official source publishes band sets for European and North American versions. It does not define a Brazilian variant. Therefore, the physical version must be checked before ordering and regional compatibility should not be claimed based solely on the T529A name. Operation also requires validating SIM, carrier, data plan and signal strength at the intended locations.
Audio, power and controls
The speaker is 36 mm, with 8 ohms impedance and 2 W power. The large PTT and the two rotary selectors favor direct activation. The battery has 4,000 mAh. The manufacturer reports up to 12.5 hours of operation and up to 22 hours in standby. Actual time varies with signal, volume, application, temperature and transmission pattern. The official page mentions charging via base and USB, but presents different descriptions for the port type. Therefore, the interface must be confirmed on the quoted unit.
Equipment construction
The T529A measures 135 by 60 by 37 mm without antenna and clip and weighs approximately 250 g. The internal structure uses die-cast aluminum. The published protection is IP54, the declared drop resistance is 1.2 m and the operating temperature ranges from minus 20 to plus 60 degrees Celsius. This information does not replace evaluation of the environment, component fastening and handling routine.
Quotation checklist
- Confirm regional variant, SIM, carrier and available Wi-Fi.
- Define PoC platform, users, groups and permissions.
- Evaluate positioning and integration with applications.
- Size up work shift, recharging, volume and usage routine.
- Check the charging interface and unit peripherals.
The T529A specification must distinguish hardware, connectivity and platform. This separation avoids promising network-independent range and keeps the proposal aligned with the manufacturer’s current information.
Technical questions about the T529A
Does the T529A communicate without a data network?
The T529A is a PoC terminal. It requires a cellular or Wi-Fi network and a configured platform to transmit group voice. The radio appearance and PTT button do not mean DMR, analog or point-to-point operation outside the data infrastructure.
Is it possible to claim nationwide coverage?
Communication can follow areas served by the network and service, but there is no universal availability. Basements, metal structures, rural areas, tunnels and congestion can reduce availability. The proposal must describe dependencies and plan tests at the most important locations.
Which T529A variant suits the operation?
The current source lists European and North American versions with different bands and does not define a Brazilian version. It is mandatory to identify the physical variant and cross-check its bands with the network used. The T529A code alone does not prove regional compatibility or regulatory authorization.
How to handle the difference about the USB port?
The official page itself describes Type-C charging in the highlights and Micro USB 2.0 in the table. Since both statements coexist in the current source, this page does not choose one without verifying the unit. The quotation must state the interface actually delivered and the corresponding components.
Does IP54 allow submerging the equipment?
No. IP54 indicates limited protection against dust and splashes under test conditions. It does not equate to submersion or washing. Covers, interfaces and wear must be inspected, especially when the equipment is used outdoors or in environments with particles.
Do the 12.5 hours apply to every routine?
That is the published operating time. Weak signal, high volume, applications, GPS, temperature and call frequency change consumption. The 22-hour standby value also depends on the scenario. A shift test should guide the recharging strategy.
Does positioning include a map platform?
GPS and A-GPS are in the equipment, but map, history, geofence and alerts depend on software and connectivity. The organization must define permissions, purpose, retention and procedure when location data is unavailable.
How to select a compatible peripheral?
Confirm the exact reference and the interfaces present on the supplied unit before the proposal. The peripheral category alone does not prove electrical, mechanical or functional compatibility with the T529A.
What to test in a pilot?
Include group calls, network switching, recovery after signal loss, audio in noise, battery duration, GPS and application behavior. Also test unit recharging and document the port present. The result should guide quantity, infrastructure and support routine.
Validation roadmap before deployment
1. Unit identification. Record variant, bands, system version, charging port and received components. The source’s difference about the USB interface makes this inspection especially important. The proposal and internal manual must reflect the actual unit, not an assumption based on a photograph.
2. Network preparation. Configure SIM, plan and Wi-Fi, then walk through the work locations. Test indoor areas, corridors, elevators, yards and outdoor regions. The goal is to locate limits and observe call recovery when the T529A regains connectivity.
3. Platform and groups. Register users, permissions and talk groups. Confirm individual, group and emergency calls only when the platform offers these functions. GPS, map, history and alerts must be tested with the chosen license and application.
4. Audio and battery. Evaluate the 2 W speaker in real noise and test the PTT with the equipment in the usage position. Run a representative shift to compare the battery with the published 12.5 hours. Note volume, signal, GPS and call frequency, as these factors alter consumption.
5. Protection and acceptance. Inspect antenna, covers, connectors and body before outdoor use. IP54 does not authorize submersion. Acceptance must record date, locations, network, platform, observed autonomy and limitations. This document prevents a test condition from being turned into a general promise for the entire operation.
Final record. Keep variant, charging port, network, platform, version, observed autonomy and test date. This traceability avoids mixing different T529A units.
